Emporia Community Foundation Eyes Record on 5th Annual Match Day
EMPORIA, KS -- NOVEMBER 12, 2018 -- The Emporia Community Foundation is holding its 5th annual match day today and is looking to surpass last year's record haul of over $210,000 collected for area nonprofits.
Donations made today to any of the 25 participating organizations will be matched from a $50,000 pool of matching funds accounding to ECF's matching rules. Donations may be made in person at The Flinthills Mall (1632 Industrial Rd in Emporia) between 91m and 7pm or online all day long at http://www.emporiamatchday.com.
Participating organiztions include: Arvonia Historic Preservation Society, Camp Alexander, Chase Children's Fund, Chase County Care & Compassion (C4 Food Pantry), Emporia Area Habitat for Humanity, Emporia Celebrates the Flint Hills, Emporia Eastside Community Group, Emporia Municipal Band, Emporia Senior Center, Inc., Food For Students, Friends of the Emporia Animal Shelter, Friends of the Emporia Public Library, Hispanics of Today & Tomorrow, Keep It a Safe Summer Taskforce, Lyon County Crime Stoppers, Main Street Mommas, Military Care Packages, Never Let Go Fund, NLC Youth Association, Pioneer Bluffs, Sertoma Train, Team Schnak Strong Fund, Wade Barrett Memorial Fund, What's In Outdoors, William Allen White Community Partnership
